Imagine for a moment that you are walking down a street in Paris, wearing your chic Black Leather Jacket, tee shirt and jeans, maybe a beret for a jaunty French flair.
You are on your way to your apartment, fresh baguette in hand and your favorite bottle of wine. You arrive at the door to the building, punch in the key code at the gate and walk through the indoor corridor to the narrow winding staircase. Three flights later you are at your door which you open to the most beautiful apartment you’ve ever been in. Wood floors, white plaster walls, and double doors that open to a balcony above the street. That’s what it’s like to be in Paris. This is what staying in a Parisian apartment would be like.
Continuing the “Tour Local Like a Parisian” series, we offer you the “Black Leather Jacket Tour” where we will discover what it is like to purchase, renovate and decorate an apartment in Paris. We explain where to find items that will perfectly fit the ambience of a European apartment, and how to get those items up the stairs and into that ideal space for a true Parisian lifestyle.
You might not be ready to buy right now, but a girl can dream, can’t she?
We begin our afternoon with a café – coffee, iced beverage, or maybe a glass of rosé on me! Then we head to a beautiful home decorating shop where we talk about the process of buying and decorating a Paris apartment from a very French owner herself. You will have an opportunity to ask questions and get ideas on how to make your own home feel Parisian chic. We will also talk about exploring the French Flea markets for treasured finds and the most unique items that can be found within the halls of Les Puces. You will have time to shop in the French home decor boutique and we will then complete our afternoon together with a glass of champagne, learning about what makes a bottle of bubbly truly champagne, and toasting to our wonderful day!
These tours are held on the third Saturday of the month, from 9am – 1pm
Join me at my favorite secret spots that only a best friend would share when visiting her city, but this time No Passport is required! The cost is $125 per person and will include light refreshments, coffee and a glass of champagne. I know our time together, talking about Paris, being oh-so-chic in the way only Parisians can be, will be priceless!
