France is open to US travel!
After a year of nesting at home, we can travel to Paris again! All Americans who are vaccinated with Pfizer, Moderna and the J&J vaccine are approved for entry into France with the correct documentation. By June 30th the curfew that has been in place for so long will be lifted completely. Museums re-opened May 19th but are under a limited amount of visitors per day, and the Eiffel Tower will reopen July 16th. Cafes are open right now but for outside dining only. And the shops! Shops have been open since May 19th, but there is a limit to how many can be in a shop at one time. Le Soldes begins on June 23 so if you have your passport ready I suggest cashing in those points or miles and hopping over to Paris by the end of this month to take advantage. Haute Couture week will be the beginning of July and I’ll bet we might see some Paris street fashions on some instagram feeds… Street style for fashion week is so different from the typical Parisian style. Women and men come from all over the world to attend fashion week and they are ready to be seen! Wandering the streets and neighborhoods of Paris is exciting because you will never know whats around the corner. It just might be something special!
Flying to Paris for Haute Couture the first week of July is an experience never to be forgotten. The excitement of being in the city known for its fashion is like waking up on Christmas morning.
